Balkan Shield 2026 ( First Balkan Shield – Industry Expo and Summit 2026) is positioned as a regional platform that connects industry, science and institutions with the aim of developing advanced technologies, strengthening cooperation and creating sustainable industrial solutions. This fair brings together market leaders, innovators, military and police officials and key decision-makers from around the world. The fair covers the entire value chain – from advanced defense technologies, weapons and military equipment, to smart solutions for security and logistics.

Special focus is placed on innovation, modernization and strategic partnerships, providing exhibitors with a platform for direct business networking and penetration into the global market. The importance and international character of this event is best demonstrated by the fact that previous participants include reputable companies and factories from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Turkey, China and Egypt.

Conference program and panels

In addition to the rich exhibition section, Balkan Shield 2026 will host a series of professional conferences and panel discussions. These events will bring together leading domestic and international experts to discuss current trends, challenges, technological innovations and legal regulations in the field of defense industry and global security.

Deadlines for registration of participation (EXHIBITORS)

Applications for participation in the Fair are submitted in accordance with the following strictly defined deadlines:

• Until 01.08.2026. - Application deadline for Exhibitors who do not exhibit physical exhibits and who opt for one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM and ELITE).
• Until 01.08.2026. - Application deadline for Exhibitors from BiH who exhibit physical exhibits and who choose one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM and ELITE).
• Until July 20, 2026 - Application deadline for Exhibitors coming from outside BiH (foreign exhibitors) who are exhibiting physical exhibits and who choose one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM and ELITE).
• Until July 15, 2026 - Application deadline for all Exhibitors (BiH and foreign exhibitors) who are not exhibiting physical exhibits and who wish to order the design and construction of a stand according to special requirements (custom stand).
• Until July 15, 2026 - Application deadline for all Exhibitors (BiH and foreign exhibitors) who are exhibiting physical exhibits and who want to order the design and construction of a stand according to special requirements (custom stand).

Important note for exhibitors with exhibits

We emphasize that it is crucial for all companies planning to exhibit physical exhibits to register as soon as possible. Due to the specifics of the dedicated industry, it is necessary to initiate the complex procedures for obtaining import and export permits with the competent ministries of both countries in a timely manner, in order to avoid delays at the borders.

Space rental options

Exhibitors have the following presentation options:

• Interior space: Stands measuring 49m², 36m², 20m² and 16m² (stands can be duplicated and combined depending on the total desired square footage).
• Outdoor space: Available area of ​​324m².

When registering, exhibitors are required to indicate whether they are renting only raw space or one of the standard stand packages with associated equipment. Detailed specifications of equipment and packages are available on the official website.

Companies from the defense and defense industry sector, manufacturers of weapons, military equipment, protective systems, providers of security and logistics services, and companies from related industries can apply for participation and exhibition.
